Industrial operations are critical to the economy and IIT is dedicated to providing education that serves the needs of industry.
The Industrial Technology and Management (INTM) Program focuses on preparing skilled individuals for managerial positions in industry. Within every industrial setting, there are technical specialists who have the talent, potential and desire to move into management and staff positions, but lack the formal education and/or managerial abilities required to do so.
INTM students study a broad range of topics in order to understand the overall workings of an industrial organization and the key elements which lead to productivity, profitability and competitiveness. The programs are designed to build upon a student's existing knowledge and expand their technical and managerial capabilities. Coursework covers a range of industrial activities, including courses focused on industrial facilities, industrial logistics and manufacturing technology.
